Welcome to the home of the Polaris clan. If you are looking for a clan that is easy on your playing experience but is very helpful to you, Polaris may be perfect. This may also be true if you are looking for relief from a stressful clan with all sorts of rules or many officers. We are basically a social, primarily PvE clan which came about because of dissatisfaction with the typical clan structure in which you perhaps had to follow orders all the time or had to put your items into a clan warehouse. This does not mean that Polaris is weak. Nor does it mean we will not PvP. We are one of the oldest clans on Hindemith (now Phoenix), and we have one of the best clan halls in the game--in Aden--from which you get free buffs and many direct teleport locations. The clan has a +75 maestro to make what you need. Polaris is a level 11 clan with two Guard Units, four Knight Units, and many clan skills.
Polaris is a member of the Unity alliance. The Unity alliance consists of the following clans: TheVikingClan, Callixtines, and Polaris. The mission of the Unity alliance is to enable its clans to work together to accomplish things they cannot necessarily accomplish on their own and to have a good time in the game. This is to be done while maintaining high standards, a good reputation, and respect for one another.

1. Any race, profession, and level member is welcome, including re-rolls. We are more interested in quality individuals rather than character type and level.
2. It MUST be your main that joins the clan. Botted toons or characters you have not developed yourself will not be invited.
3. If you are under level 40, you will placed in the Clan Academy, but will be invited into the main clan after you get graduate from the Academy.
4. Regular playing is necessary, but there are no hard weekly numbers.
5. Couples are welcomed.
6. Recommendation from a clan member helps greatly but is not mandatory.
7. You must answer the questions asked on the Public Forum under "Want to join Polaris?" and register on the Polaris Forums before you can be invited to join the clan. Register with your in-game name or a name very close to it so we know it is you when you post. (Forum registration is necessary so you can read the Members Forum, which contains vital information.)
1. Enjoy the game. (We all get upset at it every so often.)
2. Be respectful of your fellow clannies. (We all have different playing styles.) The use of extremely offensive language is against the TOS (6.d.iv) and will not be tolerated.
3. NO scamming, NO grieving and absolutely NO BOTTING. (Clan members have been removed for botting.)
4. All clan members (mains) MUST register at the clan web site under a name close to their in-game name and visit the web site at least every 15 days to read the Member's Forums, where clan announcements and member's comments are posted.
5. Everything you buy, get as a drop, get from spoiling, or receive as a gift is YOURS. (Deposit nothing in the clan ware other than your share of clan hall maintenance.)
6. Polaris characters can only be played by real life people who have a character in Polaris. (This will assure that the person playing the character understands the clan rules and will abide by them.)
7. No clan member will inform warring parties of the whereabouts of either side at any time, except of course the whereabouts of someone we are at war with.
NEW RULE: 8. PvP is allowed see the PVP Rules section below.
PVP is allowed in the following cases listed in order of decreasing priority (example case 3 fighting wartag overwrites case 4 fighting for spot):
1. Defending yourself, clannie, or allymate.
2. Retaliating for killing of yourself, clanie, or allymate. Exception: retaliation for killing your alt that is not in Polaris.
3. Attacking a wartag or a person/clan on Polaris KoS list.
4. Fighting for a spot: either defending your spot against invader if this invader declines to leave peacefully OR clearing the spot for yourself from a bot. Exception: bot wears a tag of a friendly clan, in this case contact the friendly officer and suggest they remove the bot either from their clan or from the spot.
5. Random attacking of neutral or friendly toons is not allowed!
6. Lists of friends and enemies shall be posted on the clan forum - anyone not on these lists are considered neutral until proven otherwise.
Complicated PVP cases - can I PvP with the clan's blessing?
1. You are in party with neutrals and they are attacked by other neutrals: your call, if your party mates are good friends of yours you can take their side, otherwise abstain from fighting.
2. You are in party with neutrals and they are attacked by our friends: abstain from fighting.
3. You are in party with our friends and they are attacked by neutrals: your call.
4. You are in party with our friends and they are attacked by our other friends: abstain from fighting.
